The dramatic shifts that define our corner of New York are a big part of why we love it. But when mother nature turned her ire on a hundred year old oak on our property, our first inclination was dismay.
Eventually, we had an idea: what better way to honor this oak than to build with it? Acorn Studios was born.

Located in Columbia County, we specialize in local and reclaimed hardwoods. We handcraft live edge and epoxy resin tables, custom shelves, platters and decorative pieces that celebrate the natural characteristics of the wood. When nature allows, we source downed or damaged trees with an eye for creating pieces that breathe new life into broken limbs.
